GGP Project Companies receive full DOE Endorsement:
Three Global Green Power PLC (GGP) subsidiary companies received Philippine Department of Energy (DOE) Endorsement for their projects and became the first renewable energy companies to be accredited under the Renewable Energy Bill passed into law Jan 2009.
Green Power Panay Philippines Inc., Green Power Nueva Ecija Inc and Green Power Pangasinan Philippines Inc., were all accredited and their development of biomass power plants were endorsed after detailed financial and technical review and investigation conducted by the DOE.
The DOE Endorsement paves the way for GGP’s rapid deployment of renewable energy infrastructure that provides jobs, helps mitigate climate change, provides energy security to the Philippines and cost efficient, long term, green energy solutions to Global Green Power PLC Corporation's clients and customers.
All projects undertaken by Global Green Power PLC are developed to the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) "Gold Standard".
