Global Green Power PLC ("GGP")

GGP is pleased to announce that Mr. Steve Waterfield has joined the GGP Group as Director and Chief-Executive Officer effective 1st December 2009. Steve Waterfield is a British national with 35 years of professional experience in the development, construction, operation and maintenance of international power generation assets and over 20 years technical, commercial and operational management experience in South East Asia.

In recent years Steve has worked extensively within the South East Asian Renewable Energy market, as Regional Manager responsible for the leadership of a dedicated team of technical and commercial staff managing all aspects of E.ON’s business in Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia and Vietnam. Specific deliverables included the development and implementation of business strategies for target countries; the origination, development, acquisition and downstream operation of a portfolio of biomass, waste to energy, and plant upgrade projects, requiring initial technical and commercial feasibility assessments, analysis of tariff structures, environmental impact assessment, technical design, EPC definition and negotiation, finance and consortium agreements, fuel supply agreements, negotiation of PPA and off-taker agreements, construction management, plant commissioning and take over, warranty management and operation and maintenance activities.

Steve is a qualified Electrical and Mechanical Power Engineer, additional academic qualification include B.A. (Hons) International Business and M.Sc. Project Management.
