UK renewable energy firm into biomass, wind projects
Global Biomass Plc Corp. (GBC), a UK based company, has signed a 25 year contract to supply three power plants with biomass. GBC will harvest the biomass from farm waste. Specifically corn, rice straw, sugar cane and other farm residues.
The three companies that they will supply biomass residues to are Green Power Panay Philippines Inc., Green Power Nueva Ecija Philippines Inc. and Green Power Pangasinan Philippines Inc. All three companies are on track to put up a 15MW biomass power plant in their respective location.
